Robert Bürkle: here pulsates German economy
„Top 100“ is an award for the most innovative companies of the country.
Robert Bürkle GmbH has been awarded for the 8th time this year.
Freudenstadt – resourceful personnel, courage for innovations and creative marketing of new products has brought the medium-sized company to the top – and in the list of the 100 top innovators of Germany. Lothar Späth will hand the cachet “Top 100” to Robert Bürkle GmbH this Thursday afternoon in Rostock Warnemünde.
By continuous transfer of knowledge and curiosity for new technologies, the medium-sized company opens up new future markets consistently - lastly in the booming photovoltaic industry.
The manufacturer of presses and coating lines had its beginning in the wood industry and transferred the increased know how to other industrial sectors. Today the company is the national market leader with regard to everything that can be pressed and laminated in the printed circuit board, credit card and photovoltaic industry.
For staying at this level, 480 creative staff members of the sites in Freudenstadt and Mastholte are continuously producing new ideas. 12 international patents have been granted to Robert Bürkle within the past three years alone. 2009 the company already realized half of its profit with these market innovations.
The top management with the managing partner Hans-Joachim Bender has also cared about the future: New application technologies are developed in the own innovation centre in Freudenstadt in close cooperation with the customers.
The economic university Vienna has audited the innovative behaviour of totally 248 medium-sized companies in Germany for several months. The best 100, one of them is Robert Bürkle, bear the cachet for one year. “Good ideas arriving on the market do not arise on its own. We are working hard on these ideas every day. We are very pleased, of course, that our engagement has been rewarded now. This shows that we are on the right path and in a certain way it demonstrates as well that we will not run out of good ideas in the future “says Hans-Joachim Bender.
32.500 staff members in total work at the top innovators across Germany. They puzzle and face innovations free of fear, since their employers provide optimal conditions for creativity by consequent innovation management and bring out the best in their personnel.
This also turns them into an essential motor of the German economy: 2009 they earned a total turnover of 11,1 billion Euros. 42 of the 100 medium-sized companies wearing the cachet 2010, are the national number one of its sector, 10 of them are world market leader.
60 family-owned companies of this years "Top 100” show that consciousness of tradition and will for change do not exclude each other. 86 of the 100 companies have grown more rapidly in the past three years than the industry average.
